Monday 6 September we head north on a scenic route to The Carpenters Arms in the small village of Felixkirk. Being “Best Pub” in North Yorkshire it has much to offer us and will be our base for the three nights.
Tuesday 7 September going east we will complete a clockwise loop of the North Yorkshire Moors taking in the splendour of the heather and the glistening North Sea (if the sun shines) leading us to my home town, the seaport of Whitby.
Wednesday 8 September going west we will drive the lanes of the Dales through some of the most beautiful and famous villages in the country over Buttertubs Pass leading to Hawes, the Ribblehead Viaduct and Pateley Bridge.
Thursday 9 September it is time to head south for home. A scenic route is planned through West Yorkshire and the Peak District back to Gloucestershire.
The cost will be £175 DBB per room per night which includes “Yorkshire Breakfast” and £40 towards the dinner menu. The number of cars will be limited to 10. Confirmed bookings before end November please, first come, first served to andrew@rissington.uk
