Area 10 were invited to display their Astons in the Grand Courtyard of Blenheim Palace as part of their Great British Garden Party. A total of 10 arrived in the Grand Courtyard at 4:30pm and lined up in timeline order. Nine of the cars were year 2000 and later, but one was a 1970 DBS.
The Aston owners picnicked in the palace and enjoyed a wide variety of entertainment including music, dancing and a celebrity cricket match with commentary by Henry Blofeld.
As darkness fell, the figure of Winston Churchill appeared on the palace steps and recited familiar words from the time of WWII. Then music played loudly - including Nimrod, Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory accompanied by a spectacular firework display.
