Area 20 Devon Club Evening

Ian Postles | Published on 4/12/2017

Our first Club meet at Turtley Corn Mil, Avonwick heralded the sunshine arriving in Devon.  The beautiful Spring evening promised a good turnout which resulted in 36 people attending, four of which were new members.  We were once again well supported by Aston Martin Bristol with Aaron Allnutt and Lloyd Newbery bringing a new DB11 which could be, and was, driven by some of us.  Also on the support front Will Khoo of AJ Tech, an independent Aston Martin specialist, who since the demise of Grange Exeter, has been of great help to many.

We had a large and varied selection of cars totalling 16 ranging from a silver DB5 through to the black and silver DB11 and all beautifully presented.  There were just two non marque vehicles that added greatly to the fun and, as they had the requisite number of wheels were allowed to park alongside.

As is the norm Lesley Ann and her team took the turnout completely in their stride, the food being excellent and promptly served.  Our thanks to them for looking after us so well.

An excellent evening and a couple of additional pictures from the evening below:

AML Bristol's DB11 is certainly getting about.
