HomeConcours

The Aston Martin Owners Club's foremost objective in organising Concours is to encourage the owners of Aston Martins to preserve, maintain and present their cars in as clean and near original condition as possible.

The cars are entered into classes according to era. Judges are assigned to classes that they have knowledge of and experience with. They may even own a similar model or have rebuilt one in the past. Each car in the Concours starts with a full allocation of 100 points.  If the judges spot non-originality, poor condition or lack of cleanliness, points will be deducted. The rules dictate that an 'original car' is considered to be as the car was at the moment before registration for the public highway. Judges are aware that cars can deteriorate over time and that parts do have to be replaced and therefore 'original specification' is taken in to consideration.

In addition to the AMOC organised Concours, Members also attend Concours events across the world with their Aston Martin Cars.

International Anniversary Weekend 26-28 September 2025
Saalfelden am Steinernen Meer, Austria

Arrangements are being finalised for an international AMOC meet-up on the European continent: starting with a range of activities on Friday 26 September, a Concours and further activities are planned for the Saturday and Sunday - all to take place in and around, Saalfelden am Steinernen Meer, Austria.

AMOC Members from all corners of the European continent - and beyond, hopefully - will gather in Austria from Thursday 25 September onwards, to celebrate the Club's 90th birthday together.

A venue has been found that can accommodate 200+ cars. 150 rooms have been reserved, with more available.

Plans are being made to make the journey to the venue equally special; different Sections and Areas are working on their own itineraries. More information on the tours, stops, and costs to follow in the coming weeks and months - but the birthday party in Austria is booked!

Register your interest in this event (and please note this does not guarantee a space but registrants will be notified first when bookings are open).

Spring Concours - Sandringham Estate
26 May 2024

Despite a frightening weather forecast and a wet start early Sunday morning, the sun came out by about 10 and stayed out for most of the day. Sandringham house & gardens provided a truly stunning setting for cars that were almost equally as stunning; not just the Concours cars, but a Valkyrie very generously provided by AML and a selection of cars belonging to His Majesty King Charles.

There were 66 entries, divided over 15 classes, and a team of expert judges.

Spain Concours Weekend - Peralada Castle, Girona, Spain
6 - 7 July 2024

The first Spanish Concours event was held over the weekend of 6-7 July at the stunning Peralada Resort located 145Km north of Barcelona.  Members attended from the UK, Portugal, Germany, France and of course Spain.

After an unusually wet Saturday which made car preparation very difficult the main event was held on Sunday under blue skies and fantastic sunshine, the cars all arrived and were displayed in front of the magnificent 14th century castle.

We enjoyed a wonderfully relaxed Catalonian canapé informal lunch set in the shade of the grounds.

The 7 UK judges then inspected the cars and discussed the findings with the owners.  Very well done to the entire AMOC Spain team for organising a really enjoyable event.
