Area 13 James Bond Weekend at Amberley Museum

I am sure that many AMOC members will remember Roger Moore’s swansong as James Bond in “A View to a Kill” in 1985. The basic storyline was that 007 stops Max Zorin (played by Christopher Walken) destroying Silicon Valley. The film also starred Grace Jones as May Day who actually saves the day! As part of the film was filmed at Amberley Museum, they are hosting a James Bond Celebration Weekend that is planned to take place on 25th & 26th September. The museum trust would like to offer free entry to AMOC members (plus one guest) bringing a display car to this event on the Saturday or Sunday.

All types of Aston Martins are welcome, especially those models that either appear in Ian Fleming's books or the films, such as (AM DB2/4 Mk111 in the "Goldfinger" book), DB5 in that (and other) films, AM DBS in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", AM V8 Vantage Volante in "The Living Daylights", AM Vanquish in "Die Another Day", AM DBS V12 in "Casino Royale"

Thank you to David Hubbard for finding the event.
