There was yet another excellent turnout for AMOC Area 23 here in Jersey. Nine Astons neatly parked in front of the Royal Jersey Golf Club gleamed in the morning sunshine which were equally admired by us and passing golfers.
With our cars parked up it offered a great opportunity for a group photo as can be seen by the pictures below.
A special mention has to go to Sally who once again arranged access to the golf club and its restaurant where the friendliest staff and possibly the tastiest breakfast of the year was enjoyed.
Hopefully we can return in 2025.
Please note, Next month we’re meeting slightly earlier than usual..... so make sure you reset your alarms. Le Braye don’t usually take breakfast reservations, however if we’re there by 09:15 and seated by 9:30 they’ll take our booking. (We may have to be seated on two tables) It’s somewhere we’ve not tried before but with plenty of parking, good food, and a nice drive out west, it should offer a good start to the day, plus a great opportunity for some more photos.
Please let Edward and i know if you can come along ASAP.
Extra News
As mentioned over breakfast, London AMOC Area 00 are visiting Jersey from Friday 9th August until the 11th August. They'll be coming over with a DB7, a Vanquish, a DBS Superlegera and four DBSs. They've got a fairly full itinerary however if anyone would like to meet fellow AMOC enthusiasts then Richard is the man to contact on 07967895515.
Coincidentally on Saturday the 10th August there's a "Cars & Coffee" event at the Trinity Show ground, there's a £5 entry fee, but you get a free cup of coffee. Area 00 have shown an interest in attending this. Join us if you wish, I'll be there from 10:30.
On Sunday between 14:30 and 17:00, Noirmont Point Gun Battery will be open to the public, Edward has arranged for Area 00 to attend at 15:00, we can tag along, again there's a small fee, but well worth it.
