Feltham Aston Martins on display at Beaulieu's Simply Aston Martin
Feltham era Aston Martin owners were invited by Beaulieu to put on a display of ‘50s cars for the 2024 Simply Aston Martin event. Postponed from April due to the constant rain in spring, August 17th dawned to blue skies and fine weather.
Seventeen cars lined up early in the morning with almost every style of Feltham car represented. Ranging from a DB1 (2-Litre Sports), DB2 saloons and convertibles, DB 2/4 Marks I and II including a rare fixed head coupé, several DB MkIIIs again including a rare DB MkIII fixed head coupé plus DB3S/104 which caused a great deal of interest.
Many people remarked that it was the largest number of Feltham cars gathered for a long time, certainly the most I can remember in one place for at least 10 years. Everyone I spoke to had an enjoyable time and my thanks go to all the owners for creating such a wonderful display.
