The second Hartley's Winter Warmer Breakfast meeting tempted out 29 members, despite the dull, grey and damp conditions. At least, unlike last year, it wasn't raining!
There was a very impressive display of 11 Astons on the car park, ranging from Allen & Amalia Richardson's DB2 to a selection of Gaydon V8 and V12 cars, via Phil & Lex John's DB7 Vantage Volante and Mike & Bev Jones's DB7 Vantage GT (pictured). Also gracing the car park was Bob Carter's 1971 Alfa Romeo 1750GT.
AMOC Chair candidate, Anne Reed, came along with husband David. After everyone was tucking into their delicious Hartley's grub, she gave a 10 minute address about her candidacy and aspirations for the role, if elected. She also implored everyone to vote, regardless of their 'political leaning' (my words, not hers).
Ann also stayed until the end to answer any questions that members had on the subject of the election and the running of the Club.
There are more photographs of this event in the Area 4 Gallery (here) including a panoramic shot of the nearly full car park.
Finally, thanks to everyone who, simply by being there, made this event such a success... especially members who drove all the way from Areas 10, 13 and 22. Also to Paul Hartley and his team for looking after us so well.
