Sporting & Historic Car Engineers was established in 1989 and, for 30 years, has been providing specialist automotive engineering services for customers in the international historic motorsport arena. AMOC Members are invited to view the projects currently taking place.
Arrival is at 10:00 with tea and coffee, followed by a tour led by Tim Samways who has an abundance of stories to tell. Tim has a background of professional motorsport disciplines including F1, WRC and endurance GT.
This tour is a must for all race car enthusiasts and completely free of charge. The Red Lion pub at Culworth is near to the facility for those wanting to have lunch. Pre-booking is recommended.
The Silverstone Intneractive Museum, is just a 15 minute drive away, where AMOC Members will receive a 30% discounted entry to the museum by quoting the code CCASTON when booking. Pre-booking is advised.
Alternatively, you can also visit Sulgrave Manor & Canons in Ashby, which is steeped in history. There is no charge for this visit.
