Diary Dates
Sunday, 5 November - Breakfast meet, Ransom’s Tea rooms, St Martin, Jersey.
Saturday, 2 December - Christmas party, Greenhills Country House Hotel, St Peter, Jersey.
News: Thanks to everyone who turned up for our first Autumn meet, for those who weren't there. I am pleased to announce that I, Stig Adeler, will be taking on the role of assistant area rep here in Jersey helping Edward keep the club active with monthly gatherings and hopefully raise our profile on the AMOC website.
The area is only successful due to the Members who support the club, together we have a wealth of knowledge and what better way to share that than over our monthly breakfast meeting?
In the meantime, our first Autumn gathering saw nine freshly washed Astons gleaming in the morning sun.
Our glorious Jersey weather certainly made each car sparkle within the grounds of Jersey Pearl.
From a 30s Ulster to a ‘teenies Vanquish, we had a lovely cross section of Astons to admire, and to talk about, before tucking in to our usual hearty Sunday breakfast.
It’s always good to see familiar friendly faces, catching up on news, maintenance and stories of travels further afield, and of course, just general chit chat. What an eclectic bunch of petrol heads we are, :however WE NEED MORE ASTONS so please come along.
Coming up soon: As mentioned above, make sure you make a date for Sunday, 5 November, 9:45am at Ransoms Tea Rooms.
Plus, our excellent Christmas Party on Saturday, 2 December at the Greenhills Country House Hotel is just round the corner,
I believe there’s still some room at the table, however if you wish to stay over, which we can thoroughly recommend, then don’t forget to book ASAP.
Edward and I look forward to our next gathering, new faces are always welcome.
