Area 22 New Year Buffet
For the second year running the New Year Buffet was held at the Ragged Cot, Minchinhampton. 32 members and friends met in the bar before moving to the “The Shed”, as it is known. It provides a perfect venue for a buffet, and we were not disappointed. The first helpings of Moroccan Tagine, Lamb Kofta and Beef Filet Stroganoff disappeared in no time with a queue rapidly forming for “seconds”. We choose this annual event to encourage Area members who have not been to a meeting before to come and enjoy the banter. It is also an opportunity to use our members’ allowance from AMOC for the benefit of everybody. As usual, the conversation was loud and prolonged, and it was past 1600 hours before calm was restored in The Shed. We shall return in 12 months
