Visit to Mercedes-Benz World

Coming from all over Gloucestershire, we met at Reading Services Eastbound. Following coffee, we set of in trepidation of what the M25 may have to offer. As it turned out, a totally clear motorway and we were at Mercedes-Benz World by 1100. In the traditional manner it was straight to the coffee shop, a posh one at that, before starting at the top of the building working down through the exhibits available. Three of us did 10 laps of the Albert Park Circuit in Melbourne in a Mercedes F1 car. Toto was not impressed with his rookie drivers. After lunch, Carl did the real thing, and did impress us with his skill on the Handling Circuit. We left before 1600 to get ahead of the M25 traffic, but as before, it was a totally clear run. An enjoyable day was had by all.
