90 Years of Aston Martin Owners Club 25 May - Worldwide

One of the oldest, most prestigious Owners Clubs in the world, the AMOC was formed in 1935, endorsed by Aston Martin Lagonda.

It is the only officially recognised membership club for Aston Martin owners and enthusiasts.

Following adverts in Autocar magazine on 3 and 17 May, the Club was officially founded on 25 May 1935 at the Grafton Hotel, Tottenham Court Road, London.

Founders Day Lunch - The Radisson Blu Euston Square, London
25 May 2025

One of the oldest, most prestigious Owners Clubs in the world, the AMOC was formed in 1935.

Mortimer 'Mort' Morris-Goodall and ‘Bert’ Bertelli approached racing driver and motorsport journalist Sammy Davis, who was Sports Editor of Autocar magazine at the time. Sammy agreed that a dedicated club for Aston Martin owners would be a good idea, and inserted a note in Autocar on 3rd and 17 May 1935 calling a meeting.

The first meeting was held on 25 May 1935 at the Grafton Hotel, Tottenham Court Road, London. To their delight, around 20-30 people turned up: the Club was officially formed and its committee was elected.

We were delighted to invite Members to join us for a luncheon at the very venue in which the Club was founded, 90 years ago to the day on 25 May 1935. On Sunday 25 May 2025, we arranged a Members lunch at The Radisson Blu Euston Square Hotel (formerly The Grafton), Tottenham Court Road, London. The celebration lunch commenced with a welcome glass of champagne, followed by a three course meal with wine and coffee.

A big thank you to all who joined us!

To name a few: three escorted driving days on scenic Highland roads, taking in Glencoe, the Cairngorm Mountains, Fort Williams and the beautiful Loch Leven, the largest lowland loch in Scotland. The tour also included a spectacular evening dinner event on the Royal Yacht Britannia, and a barbecue at Balmoral, favourite country retreat of the British Royal family.

The tour was limited to 28 cars (and to a maximum of 56 people).

Royal Yacht Britannia Experience
10 - 11 June 2025

For those who were unable to join us on the full UK Highlands Tour, we were delighted to be able to offer the opportunity to spend an evening on one of the most famous ships in the world – The Royal Yacht Britannia. After a red carpet arrival and champagne reception, expert tour guides gave Members a window into life aboard the Royal Yacht; dinner was served in The State Dining Room where the Royal Family would dine and entertain kings, queens, presidents and prime ministers.

There was also an opportunity to extend the evening with a night at the 5-star Caledonian Hotel with our tour participants.

This really was an evening not to be missed!

The photo album will be posted soon.
