Thirteen Astons and their owners, both from Area 18 and from across the country, gathered at the Lake Country House Hotel, Llangammarch Wells on the Friday, catching up with old friends and making new ones over dinner.

Saturday morning saw the 13 frosted up Astons warmed up  before heading out into the spectacular Elan Valley, joined by Saturday arrivals Andrew Fowkes in his Storm Red V8 Vantage and Tony & Jane in their DB11. A coffee stop at the Elan Valley Visitor Centre was followed by a drive through the spectacular valley before heading over the mountain to Devils Bridge and then lunch at the 16thcentury Triangle Inn in Cwmdauddwr.

The afternoon saw the arrival of Aston Martin Bristol with the new Vantage & DBS Superleggera and drivers were able to take the cars for spirited drives on the sweeping roads of the Epynt ranges.

Saturday was rounded off with a great dinner and Sunday saw most of the group take a drive across the hills to Brecon and down to Abergavenny, stopping for lunch at the Sugarloaf Vineyard, where Matt Hurley, Area 18’s newest member, joined us in his lovely N400 Roadster.
