Area Rep | Published on 10/6/2017

The weekend 13-15 October was our trip to Grasmere in the Lake District with a drive out and visit to Lakeland Car Museum on the Saturday and Sunday lunch at the Yacht Club in Bowness where we were joined by members from the Lakeland Historic Car Club making a grand display of Astons and Classics. We finished off with a visit to the grand Windemere Motor Boat Racing Club.

Standing in the heart of Grasmere, the historic Macdonald Swan Hotel is a former coaching inn and has played host to famous names, including the great William Wordsworth. Macdonald Swan Grasmere, Keswick Road, Grasmere, Cumbria LA22 9RF
