Having recently purchased the team car LM4 Jonathan Lupton was naturally keen to race it. Despite a misfire resulting in several visits to the pits, they persevered completing the race.
Robert Blakemore was delighted to win the scratch element of the race finishing first on the road. Lupton and Turner deservedly won the prestigious St John Horsfall race handicap trophy as reward for their tenacity.
