Cotswolds and Herefordshire Tour August 2023

The meeting place for our Tour was Little Oak Vineyard near Chipping Campden on a rare warm and sunny afternoon in August. Five couples took part: Jim and Sheila Campbell, Colin and Jennie Eccles, John and Hazel Williams, Roger and Margaret Carey, plus Sue and I. Following a very informative tour of the Vineyard and of course the obligatory tasting, we checked into Charingworth Manor Hotel, where we had a lovely evening. The following day, we set off towards Malvern, stopping at Broadway, Stanway and Prescott on route to the Morgan Motor Factory. After an excellent factory tour and lunch, we set of towards Ledbury and onto Symonds Yat for a leg stretch to look down on the River Wye between Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, which is in a deep gorge cut by the river over thousands of years.
