The first area 23 afternoon tea gathering was without doubt a great success. 11 of us turned up in 7 Astons, a selection of DB7s a DB9, a Vantage and Vanquish. The Greenhills Country House Hotel welcomed us with open arms, as per usual and severed up a wonderful selection of both savoury and sweet afternoon teas. Unfortunately the sunniest place in the British isles didn’t live up to its reputation so we couldn’t sit outside, however the warm atmosphere we generated inside made up for it.
A special ‘thank you’ has to go to Peter & Nicki D'Anger who let us park in their courtyard adjacent to the hotel, a lovely location for some photos too.
Thanks to everyone who joined us, for those that weren’t able to attend, we’ll certainly be doing this again as an alternative to our usual breakfast meeting.
