Here’s our September ‘Car of the Month’ – a 1965 DB5 Saloon in Silver Birch that has been proudly owned since 2015 by one of our Club Members in West Sussex.
Few interesting facts from the owner:
Following a complete restoration by Aston Engineering in Derby the car has attended many Aston Martin events and used by Aston Martin for promotional activities, photographed by Rankin in London for the Aston Martin brand alliance with Bowmore whisky. Other events included a Scottish tour visiting the iconic ‘Skyfall’ locations and appearances at the Simply Aston Martin event in Beaulieu where it has been a regular winner of the ‘People’s choice’ award. The picture was taken at another Aston Martin event at the Thruxton Circuit.
This iconic model will also be displayed at the Club’s annual dinner which is being held at the RAC in Surrey 19th October. Check out the Member’s events section on the website if you haven’t already bought tickets. Tickets are available
