We are delighted to announce that the Aston Martin Owners Club was named the winner of 'Club of the Year' at the International Historic Motoring Awards 2025. The award was presented for the Club’s 90th anniversary year celebrations that took place all around the world, including our flagship ‘International Anniversary Weekend’ in Austria.
AMOC was founded on 25th May 1935 by Mort Morris Goodall who owned an Aston Martin Racing International and wanted to share his passion with other Aston Martin enthusiasts. With a turnout of 30 people, the first Owners Club meeting took place at the Grafton Hotel in London.
Since then, the Aston Martin Owners Club has continued to grow in popularity and diversity and, today, it is one of the oldest one-marque car clubs, and the only officially licensed Aston Martin owners and enthusiasts club. The club has nearly 9,000 Members in over 77 countries / areas, 8,000 followers on social media and held over 900 events around the world in 2025 to celebrate the 90th anniversary with many of them happening on (or near) 25th May to mark the Founder’s Day.
Other anniversary events from around the world included:
- AMOC UK organised a 5-day highlands tour taking in Glencoe, the Cairngorm Mountains, dinner on the Royal Yacht Britannia and a BBQ at Balmoral (favourite country retreat of the British Royal Family).
- The AMOC North America section held their 53rd Lime Rock Weekend in Stockbridge, Massachusetts in May and in August was involved in the Monterey Car Week organising ‘Astons on the Avenue’, a brilliant display of cars on Ocean Avenue in Carmel, California, alongside the famous Pebble Beach Concours.
- The AMOC Portugal Section organised cocktails and dinner at the iconic Palacio Estoril Hotel which had a starring role in the James Bond film ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’.

The Aston Martin Owners Club is the only global club licensed by Aston Martin Lagonda for owners and enthusiasts of the marque.
Members don’t need to own an Aston Martin to join the club, just enthusiasm!
