Our Events supremo, Karen, organised an excellent day out with something for everyone on 16th September at two locations in Bristol. No gender bias was practiced in the setting up of the two parallel activities available but they did seem to fall in to self selecting camps.
First of all the ladies were booked in to a hosted skincare session with Elemis and Estee Lauder in John Lewis in Bristol. As you can see from the photographs everyone was very well looked after via glasses of sparkling wine and Karen was brave enough to become the model for the day. Goody bags and some purchases rounded off a very successful morning.
At the same time the chaps were hosted at Aston Martin Bristol where cars were given healthchecks and people were given coffee and pastries. No alcohol here! Goody bags were also distributed although no larger purchases were made...as far as I know.
After both visits concluded we travelled the short distance to Berwick Lodge for lunch which again was a great success. Berwick Lodge is a lovely place in a great setting albeit a bit marooned by surrounding development up its own single track road.
Another grand day out to add to the Area 22 memory banks.
