Hi All,
Here is the Area 22 Calendar for the remainder of 2026 and onwards well in to 2027. Please take a good look through everything that's happening and come along to enjoy what's going on.
We will have a brief run through at the monthly meeting on 5th November but do note the following...
- Reservations for Fish & Fizz at Woodchester Valley Vineyard on Friday 13th November will be closing soon so please respond to Karen's emails promptly if you would like to come along. I have been before for a lunchtime tour & tasting and really enjoyed it.
- The next Breakfast meeting scheduled for 28th November is in doubt because the Trouble House has closed its doors and is no longer trading. We'll look for an alternative in the same area and with luck all will be well for the same date if a different location
- Our Christmas Event on 17th December is booking strongly which is great news. It promises to be a fabulous night out! There are still spaces so please respond to Mark's emails and sign up soon.
- 2027
- The New Year Buffet is on Saturday 16th January and details will be sent out in plenty of time to start the year as we mean to go on!
- Then we're in to AGM mode at the February meeting so be prepared to consider standing for office if you wish.
- Later in February we slip in to Murder mode and try to solve a mystery over dinner at Bowden Hall. Karen has issued preliminary details and several of us are already signed up for an overnight stay. I feel sure we'll live to tell the tale so do join us!
- Lastly for this note on 21st March we are proposing a Sunday lunch at Lords of the Manor Hotel in Upper Slaughter. We'll be coming out for commitments and pre-orders fairly promptly in the New Year because this is a popular venue and I want us to grab as many seats as possible!
