We are delighted to announce our Area 1 Schedule of events for 2018 below - full details of each event and booking can be undertaken through the individual event items in the Events section or by contacting David or Chris

British Marques Day at Brooklands

Sunday 8th April
|
Simply Aston at Beaulieu National Motor Museum.This is a great event and we will be repeating our convoy run from The Fairmile in Cobham starting at 8 o’clock in the morning to arrive around opening time at 9.30.

Sunday 22n April
|
National Drive it Day – We are proposing to join with Area 7 for their traditional St Georges Day drive out and lunch in Westerham. Further details re timing are to be confirmed

Sunday 13th May

Spring Sunday Lunch at Gorse Hill, Woking.

Sunday 3rd June
|
Floral Fair at Knepp Castle. A great summer fair with a huge variety of attractions including us!

The Annual Hanworth Classic and 40' 50's Jive & Swing Dance Event. Held in Bushy Park Hampton Court, come and enjoy this amazing Royal Park Venue

Saturday 30th June
|
Summer Gala Dinner at The De Vere Hotel, Wotton nr Dorking. The Area 1 highlight event of the summer with drinks reception and a 3 course meal with wine, and entertainment until 12.00.

|
Clandon Car Show in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support.

Weekend of 20/22nd July
|
Silverstone Classic – possible convoy run and group parking
|

Sunday 5th August
|
Area 1/ Area 21 Combined Rally. Starting from The Queen’s Head in Clandon, with a picnic lunch planned at Petworth House. Ending with a BBQ at the family home of H G Wells now owned by our member Hank di Mond.

Cranleigh Motor Show and Autojumble – the biggest local car show in the South with over 2000 exhibitors. A great day out.

Saturday/Sunday
25th/26th August
|
Wings and Wheels – Dunsfold. A great day out and a chance to open the taps on your Aston down the runway as part of the motoring demonstrations. We are planning a static display as well for those not wishing to take part in the runway event.

Boy’s Toys Weekend (Ladies are very welcome too!). Still in planning but hopefully a treat for all aviation fans involving a trip to Lincolnshire to take in various historic aviation museums. More details once we have confirmed but we hope to be able to attend some great venues.

Rob Walker Centenary Parade in Dorking. To celebrate Rob Walkers centenary and his long association with British Motorsport this should be a fascinating day.
